There are NO refunds - please only enrol if you are committed and able to attend the course duration

Payment must be received within 12 hours of receiving the enrolment email

Only 1 handler per dog (family can watch from the side)

The SCDOC is not liable for any damage done by your dog

Children handling dogs must be 14 years or older

Puppies must have their first vaccination to participate

THE PUPPY PACKAGE

Consisting of 6 WEEK PUPPY SCHOOL COURSE
followed by
8 WEEK BEGINNERS OBEDIENCE COURSE
 

Puppies must be between 8 and 10 weeks old at the commencement of the course.

Join Beginners Obedience if your pup will be too old for Puppy School.

Puppy School Classes (6 x 60mins) - $120

40% OFF Beginners Obedience Classes (8 x 30mins) - $100  $60

MEMBERSHIP FEES

SINGLE:                                                                                 $15/yr 

DUAL:                                                                                    $20/yr

*  must be resident at the same address, or persons who are partners in  the                conduct of a kennel.

JUNIOR (12 - 18 yr old):                                                         $5/yr

LIFE MEMBER:                                                                        $0/yr

*  valid only for those nominated & approved for this membership at an AGM

HONOURARY MEMBER:                                                         $0/yr

*  valid only for those nominated & approved for this membership at an AGM 

Upon first applying for membership a $25 joining fee applies.

Memberships are annual with renewals due in December to be valid for the following calendar year.

Updated vaccination history for each dog is a requirement for each renewal.

  • Puppies MUST be between 8 and 12 weeks of age at the start date of the course

  • Children handling dogs must be 14 years or older

  • Puppies must have had their first vaccination (given at 6 - 8 weeks old) to participate

  • All members and visitors to the club MUST be double vaccinated against COVID-19

We would appreciate your help in promoting our clubs' activities to other members of the community. Please tick the box below if you agree to images (photo and/or video) of you or your dog appearing on our website or other forms of media, including the SCDOC Facebook page and Members Group.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • I/we hereby apply to join membership of the Sunshine Coast Dog Obedience Club Inc (SCDOC) and agree to be bound by its rules and constitution, and Rules of the Canine Control Council Qld (t/a Dogs Queensland).  A copy can be viewed here.

  • I/We accept responsibility for my dog's behaviour at all times.

MEMBER COMMUNICATION

1) All club communications are posted to the Members Only Facebook page, including if classes need to be cancelled due to weather. The Club does not notify members individually, the onus is on members to keep themselves informed.

Please join our Member's Group now.

 

2) General Meetings are held every second month, all financial members are invited to attend. Meeting announcements and minutes are posted to the Group.

 

  • SCDOC has public liability insurance to the value of $10 million. 

  • SCDOC collects personal information for the purpose of communicating with members and to maintain the Register of Members in accordance with s. 9.1(a) of the Association of Incorporations Act 1999 (Qld). Your personal information may only be distributed to a third party where you consent to the disclosure or required or authorised by law.

When you submit this form you'll be emailed more information.

Once you have paid, allow 5 - 7 days to receive your confirmation.

Please be patient, we are volunteer-run and receive a huge number of enrolments. We will respond!
